How to judge a subreddit before you post in it
The list above is a starting point. Before you commit to a community, spend ten minutes on these checks.
- Sort by new and read a page of posts. Are people asking questions, or is it all links and memes?
- Search for "recommend" and "alternative". If nobody has asked for a tool lately, your buyers may not use this subreddit that way.
- Read the rules and the pinned posts. Many subreddits ban links or keep promotion to a weekly thread. Others hold back comments from new accounts.
- See who gets upvoted. Founders sharing what they learned, or only regulars? That tells you what the community values.
- Check for vendors. If other vendors answer openly and do fine, you probably can too. If they get downvoted, stay in read-only mode.
Why the biggest subreddits are often the wrong choice
Large communities attract everyone who wants attention, so moderators are stricter and threads move fast. A smaller subreddit that sticks to one topic often has a clearer buyer and more patience for a useful answer. The finder prefers on-topic, mid-sized communities for that reason.
What "verified" means here
Every suggestion is checked against Reddit before you see it. Subreddits that do not exist, are private or are marked NSFW get dropped, and the subscriber count comes from Reddit itself. The reason given for each suggestion comes from an AI model, so treat it as a lead to check, not a fact.
Once you have your shortlist, the Reddit lead generation guide covers what to do next.

How it works
How does it pick subreddits?
An AI go-to-market model reads your product description and lists communities where that product's buyers ask for recommendations. Every suggestion is then verified against the Reddit API - non-existent, private, or NSFW subs are dropped, and we show the real subscriber count.
Is it really free?
Yes - a few searches a day, no signup. Create a free PluckLead account to monitor any of these subreddits 24/7 and get AI-scored buyer-intent posts automatically.
What do I do with the list?
Start reading those subreddits, search the suggested terms, or paste them into PluckLead to monitor them for you. The Reddit Buyer-Intent Scanner can score live posts from any of them.
