Free Reddit Buyer-Intent Scanner
Enter a keyword. See who on Reddit is asking to buy - scored 0-100 by AI, right now.
What the score means
Every post gets a score from 0 to 100 for how close the writer is to buying. These are the calibration points the model is given, from our published rubric:
- 5: news, meme, showcase, irrelevant discussion
- 25: topic-adjacent chatter, no specific pain or ask
- 45: generic "what does everyone use for X?", some curiosity, no pain context
- 60: named pain plus implicit ask, buyer is circling the problem
- 75: clear pain plus specific named tool plus explicit ask for input
- 88: explicit shopping, comparing tools, trial ending, budget mentioned
- 97: "we have to pick something this week, send recs"
Treat anything from about 60 upward as worth reading, and answer the 75s and above first.
How to read the results
- The score is a starting point, not a verdict. Open the thread and read it before you reply.
- Check the age of the post. A fresh thread can still be won. On an old one, the person has probably decided.
- Look at who is asking. The model tries to catch vendors posing as buyers, but it will miss some.
- Read the reasoning. Each score comes with a short explanation, so you can disagree with it.
What it does not do
It searches one keyword at a time and shows a snapshot. It does not watch Reddit for you, it does not know whether a subreddit allows promotion, and it never replies for you. Before you post, read the subreddit's rules. Our phrase library has more terms to try.

How it works
How does the intent score work?
Each post is read by an AI lead-scoring model that looks for a specific buying trigger - an explicit ask (“any recs?”, “alternative to”), active evaluation, named-tool pain, or budget/timeline language. It returns a 0-100 score with a one-line reason. Showcase posts, news and venting score low; “we need to pick something this week” scores high.
Is it really free?
Yes - no signup for a few scans a day. Create a free PluckLead account to unlock every result, get an AI-drafted reply for each post, and monitor your keywords across Reddit 24/7.
Does this post or message anyone for me?
Never. The scanner only reads public Reddit posts and scores them. PluckLead is copy-paste by design - nothing is ever sent on your behalf.
